Verify for Communities is for churches, non-profits and other groups whose volunteers work with children and young people. Before you add your first volunteer, Loomis reviews your organisation.
The set-up steps
Home lists what is left to do. Only an admin can do these steps, and your answers save as you go.
- Organisation details: your organisation's name, type, country and registered address, and your NPO or registration number if you have one.
- Safeguarding contact and policy: the person volunteers can ask, and a tick to confirm you have a child-protection policy. See Naming your safeguarding contact.
- Sign the agreement.
- Submit for review, on the Payment step.
While we review
Home shows Under review with the date you submitted, and how long a review usually takes. We check the details you gave us.
You can't add volunteer details until you're approved. In the meantime, put each volunteer's name, email and role in a spreadsheet, ready to paste in later.
The decision
If you're approved, Loomis gives your organisation a band: free, reduced or standard. The Payment step shows it, and the amount due if there is one. A free classification needs no payment. For plans, see Pricing.
If we can't approve you yet, Home shows the reason. Choose Update and resubmit, fix the details and submit again. Nothing else you entered is lost. If anything is unclear, contact us.
Once you're approved, you can add volunteers.
