Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Loomis ("Loomis", "we", "us") operates the platform available at loomis.co.za, including Loomis Intel — Footprint, Threads, Weave, and the Solo, Creator and Guard dashboards. You can reach us at hello@loomis.co.za.

2. The service

Loomis Intel is a continuous dashboard about your own public footprint. Footprint discovers what already exists publicly under your name; claiming a result turns it into a Thread you own; from there Loomis periodically re-reads your own Threads and any accounts you've connected, on its own cadence, and an AI layer explains what it finds in plain language as it accumulates. There is no score and no ranking — a finding describes your own behaviour, weighed only against a fixed description of it, never against other people or against your own other activity.

Three modules sit on one engine. Solo reads your own footprint against goals you set. Creator adds analysis of your own posts, DROP and comment activity. Guard (Family) runs Solo for each household member you add, each with their own sign-in, plus a safety notification to you if concerning content turns up in a linked member's own account.

Where you connect an account — your own, or, on Guard, a household member's own — you authorise that connection through the platform's own consent screen, currently reached via Bundle Social, a third-party connection provider that holds the platform-approved app registration; the consent screen you see names Bundle Social, not Loomis. That connection can return content that is not publicly visible, at any audience setting, because it is your own content reached through your own authorisation. No route we have today reaches direct messages, so we do not read them. Loomis never asks you to upload a platform data export.

The free footprint scan on our homepage runs without an account: it is stateless, and nothing from this search is saved.

A separate product, Loomis Verify, is referenced on this site but has not opened. Joining its waitlist composes an email in your own mail client addressed to us; it is not submitted to, or stored by, any Loomis system.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and be old enough to hold an account under the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for activity under your account. On Loomis Guard, the parent or guardian holding the primary account adds and manages each household member's own linked account.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Loomis only for its intended purpose: understanding your own public footprint, or that of a household member you are responsible for on Guard.

• Do not use Loomis to harass, stalk, or intimidate any person, including another household member.
• Do not attempt to connect or view an account you are not personally authorised to access — Guard's household model only ever reaches an account its own holder has linked.
• Do not misrepresent who you are when creating an account or a household member's profile.
• Do not resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the platform or its dashboard.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Loomis Solo, Creator and Guard are subscriptions: you are billed on a recurring basis at the tier's current price, shown in your account settings, until you cancel. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; Loomis never receives or stores your card details.

A subscription renews automatically each billing period; cancelling stops future renewal but does not refund the period already paid for. If a renewal payment fails, Loomis gives you a period to fix it before access is restricted and, if it remains unresolved, the subscription is cancelled.

The free footprint scan requires no account and no payment.

6. Refunds

Subscription cancellation and its billing treatment are described above, under Payments and subscriptions. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, its dashboard, and all software, designs and content are and remain the property of Loomis or its licensors. What Loomis shows you about your own footprint is for your own personal use, not for republication or resale.

8. Disclaimers

Public information is incomplete and changes constantly. Loomis provides your dashboard on an as-is basis and does not warrant that it is complete or free of error. Findings describe evidence of your own public behaviour; they are not a risk score, a clinical assessment, or professional advice of any kind. A Guard safety notification is informational only — if you are concerned about a household member's immediate safety, contact the relevant professional or emergency service directly.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loomis's total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid Loomis for your subscription in the 12 months before the claim arose. Loomis is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, unlawful use, or abuse of the platform. You may close your account at any time from your account settings; an active subscription must be cancelled first. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers and liability limits) survive.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision; material changes will be communicated to account holders before they take effect.
