Draft a post and send it for approval

Updated 26 October 20262 minute read

Every post starts as a draft and goes to whoever your approval rules name. Drafting needs a role that includes drafting.

Draft with Loomis

Give Loomis an idea and pick the platforms to write for. It writes one post for each platform, using only facts from your approved brand brief and your own posts.

Each Loomis draft shows Where the facts come from. A fact Loomis can't trace to your brief or your posts is marked for you to check, along with any price, number or date it can't match. Keep one only if it's true.

Or write it yourself

Under Or write it yourself, type the post, add it to a plan if you like, and choose Send for approval.

Checks on every draft

Whoever wrote it, each draft shows:

  • Its reading level, and whether it's above the level Loomis aims for.
  • Any phrase from your never-use list or common filler.
  • Its length against the platform's limit.

Approve, reject or schedule

Approvers see drafts on the To review page. Rejecting a version can include a note on what should change.

Once a draft is approved, someone with the schedule permission picks when it goes out, in South African time. An account must be connected first. You can move or pull back a scheduled post until it goes out.

Discarding a draft pulls back anything scheduled from it. Its record stays.
