The brand brief is what Loomis knows about your business. Every post Loomis drafts is checked against the version you approve, so it's the first thing to set up.
How the chat works
You build the brief by chatting with Loomis. It starts by asking what your business does. Paste your website address and Loomis reads the site and suggests answers for you to check.
You can answer the questions in any order. The brief covers:
- What you do, who it's for, and what you sell and its prices.
- What sets you apart, your tone in three words, and words you never use.
- Topics to post about and topics to avoid.
- Key links, posts you're proud of, claims that need care, and what readers should do next.
Suggestions wait for you
Loomis keeps an answer only when the words are really in your messages, your website or your posts. Anything it read from your website or posts is a suggestion until you keep it, edit it or remove it. You can't approve the brief while a suggestion is still waiting.
Approving the brief
Once you approve it, Loomis can draft posts. Until then you can still write posts yourself. If you change the brief later, Loomis keeps drafting from the approved version until you approve the new one.
Building, editing and approving the brief needs the manage settings permission.
Your voice for replies
The Voice page sets how Loomis sounds when it replies to comments. Pick a persona for a reply, or leave it on the tone in your brief. See Comment replies and comment rules.
