A report shows what a check found in public places, with a link to where each item was public. Loomis organises and explains the evidence, and your organisation makes the decision.
The top of the report
The header lists who requested the check, when it was delivered, whether consent was given, the purpose and a Deleted on date. The summary sits below it, with three counts: profiles in the report, sources read, and items for review.
If no profile was confirmed as the person, a note says the report rests on name searches only.
Areas and profiles
Areas we looked at lists each area the check found items in, with a word for how many: None (0), A little (1 to 2), Some (3 to 9) or A lot (10 or more). An area with an item that needs a closer look is marked Area for review.
Profiles in this report lists the profiles confirmed as the person. Profiles that were looked at and left out are listed too, with the reason where one was recorded.
Evidence
Each item is marked Positive indicator or Area for review, and links to where it was public. Areas for review come first. Read the item at its source before you decide anything.
Method and limits
The lower sections cover evidence with caveats, the links the check used, and how it was done. They also say how many passages were withheld for holding special personal information, such as health or religion. The report covers public online activity only. It includes no criminal or credit records.
